The chassis
The machines used for the ERDF Masters Kart are supplied by Sodikart, the leading global karting manufacturer, based on a revolutionary concept. They installed a high-power electric propulsion system on a latest generation racing chassis, the Sodi ST 32. Sodi chassis have already proven their worth worldwide at the highest level of competition, thanks to the proprietary TTT Tekneex Tube Technology.

The electric motor
The Sodi STX electric motor was developed based on extensive engineering studies carried out by Sodikart's Research and Development team in order to achieve the best combination of performance, reliability, battery life and weight. The motor is a 65 V motor with an internal rotor, producing an output of 20kW, equivalent to a standard racing kart.

Batteries
Divided into two packs mounted on either side of the kart, the batteries use NCM (Nickel Cobalt Manganese) technology known for its high discharge capacity. In the racing configuration, the batteries last for 15 min, which is ample for the races at Bercy, with a recharge time of 30 min.

Performance
Top speed exceeds 100 km/h for a weight of 123 kg, only slightly more than a racing kart. The first track tests by professional drivers are conclusive, demonstrating that the first massed-produced electric racing kart is a technological achievement that paves the way for a new era in motor sports.
