Sodikart is more than ever associated with the success of the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals as a chassis partner for eight years. The seriousness of the French products and the quality of the service that accompanies them have been appreciated for a long time by the participants in this benchmark event. The performance of the Sodi chassis has steadily increased over the years to reach an exceptional level which attracts more and more contenders for victory from around the world.

The 18th edition of the Rotax World Final held in Portugal, at the Kartodromo Portimao, from 4th to 11th November 2017, once again confirmed the perfect mastery of the entire production and service chain by the world's leading kart manufacturer. The French factory's Operations and Production department spent more than 2,000 hours working on the construction and assembly of the Sodi Sigma RS and Sigma DD2 chassis. Three tons of technical steel, 500 m of tube and 250 m of welding seams were used to manufacture 154 complete Sodi karts, designed to accommodate the 144 125 Max and 125 Max DD2 Masters drivers from around 60 countries and five continents to compete in the best conditions in Portugal. On site, the Logistics and Events teams then ensured the success of the organisation in the field with their recognised professionalism.

"Our highly appreciated performance at the Rotax Grand Final is a source of pride for everyone involved,” said Bertand Pignolet, the Managing Director of Sodikart. "The Sodi chassis enabled the top drivers from each country to compete in the best conditions and discover the quality and performance produced in France. We warmly thank BRP Rotax for its long-term confidence and we are delighted that many enthusiasts have been able to appreciate the new Austrian production of new-generation cylinders with exceptional manufacturing consistency and sporting fairness in competition. In combination with an exceptionally low cost and ease of operation, we have important strengths to ensure the success of Rotax competitions in France. The strength of the Rotax sector in our country has proved its worth this year with the exciting results of the Team France drivers worldwide. We are determined to continue in this direction in close collaboration with the French Motor Sport Federation. "

Sodikart has always enjoyed an excellent response from drivers, mechanics and teams, thanks to the quality of its products and its staff. This was confirmed at Portimao. The testimonials of satisfaction were multiplied regarding the representatives of the French brand, the competitors being well aware that Sodikart aims for the development of its products and services, and not short term profit. The remarkable performance of the Sodi Racing range has been hailed from all sides and many have discovered the standard of French chassis with great interest.

The results of the 2017 Rotax Grand Final have once again been very positive for the French brand, which has won over a wide range of drivers and professionals with the quality and the image of its products and organisation.

This year British driver Brett Ward won the 125 Max category after a duel with the young Frenchman Jean Nomblot, who finished 3rd. 2nd place went to Belgian Felix Warge, with Jordan Brown-Nutley of Great Britain and Petr Bezel of the Czech Republic completing the top five.

In DD2 Masters, it was once again an Australian, Troy Woolston, who won against Finland's Antti Ollikainen, while Frenchman Charly Hipp climbed on the third step ahead of Germany's Tommy Hilfinger and South Africa's Michael Stephen.
