Presentation of the 2025 SWS International Finals

2025-06-30 - Press release

The world’s largest recreational karting event, the SWS International Finals, is heading to a new country, Spain, for its 14th edition, which will take place from 2nd to 5th July 2025 at the prestigious KartCenter in Campillos.

The success continues for the SWS

Launched in 2009 by the Sodikart group, the world leader in karting, the SWS concept has continued to grow. The exceptional quality of Sodi Rental karts, always at the forefront of innovation, as well as the exemplary organisation common to all SWS-approved circuits, have contributed to the rise of this true karting phenomenon. The largest international leisure karting ranking now brings together more than 140,000 drivers and more than 730 partner tracks in 70 countries. The best drivers in each category have access to the SWS International Finals.

An internationally renowned circuit

A record 400 drivers from more than 50 countries will gather at the Andalusian circuit, which is long and wide, as well as fast and undulating, which will be a change of scenery for some of them. The steady growth of the SWS around the world is confirmed by the arrival of Chile and Georgia among the participating countries, as well as the return of the Philippines.

In a breathtaking setting, the KartCenter in Campillos offers a prestigious venue that recently hosted the FIA Karting Junior and Senior World Championships. It is also a well-known circuit for the SWS, both in Sprint and Endurance. Under the leadership of Martin Reuvers, a team of highly talented professionals is preparing to host the event with the confidence that comes from their extensive experience. Heat and wind are part of the usual conditions at the start of summer for races that are generally contested until the last lap, in which slipstreaming and team management play a major role. Spectators will be able to enjoy all this from the elevated viewpoint of the restaurant terrace.

Four intense days

The 2024 race format proved highly successful and will be repeated in 2025 with its mini-championship formula for individual categories on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Only the Sprint Cup engine will change, moving from a tuned 270cc to a 390cc, which is more suited to the track. The Junior Cup is set to crown two new champions in the Kids and Junior categories, separated only by weight, at the wheel of Sodi LR6 karts with highly suitable 200cc engines. Sixty young drivers will compete. Théo di Vicenzo, William Van Leersum, Livio Innocenti, Fabry Peter and Christopher Giustizieri are among the favourites.

There will also be new champions in the Sprint Cup among the 105 entrants, as well as among the 30 women, who will compete in powerful Sodi Sport karts equipped with Honda 390 engines. We will be following Wiktor Wota (2nd in 2024), Amaël Pereira (+200 races in 2024), Andrejs Laipnieks, Jon Del Valle (a native of the circuit), Jack Williamson and Kirill Martolog in the Sprint Cup, while in the Women’s category, Debby Wolfs, Sarai Garcia, Karla Fadet, Rosanna Marziano and Nicole Protivova are the favourites. Finally, 2024 Master winner Geoffrey Galichet will defend his title among the 30 selected drivers against opponents such as Joël Faure, Jose Francisco Gonzalez Jimenez, Andrea Rocco, Jan Tyca and others.

The longest race of the meeting, the Endurance Cup will take centre stage on Friday from noon to midnight with its 390cc Sodi RT 10 karts. The competition promises to be very close with the presence of the top 17 in the 2024 rankings, including the PF Racing team, which will be aiming for its third consecutive victory. This will be particularly motivating for Eiriz Pro, PFV, Joker Team, MRK Lyons, Matrax Racing, and Creatia Racing Team to respond… In addition to Malaysia’s first participation, Great Britain is also returning to the list of countries competing in endurance racing.

A sporting and celebratory atmosphere

The racing atmosphere will be guaranteed in the paddock with a cool zone equipped with a giant screen to follow all the phases of the meeting and the numerous podiums. The Sodi Racing structure will offer a competition showroom and a shop, while the Sodi sales team will welcome its guests and circuit representatives in a VIP area at the top of the control tower reception. The festivities will begin on Thursday evening with the presentation of the drivers during cocktail hour for supporters and staff, and will continue throughout the meeting with a raffle for various prizes.

More than €35,000 in prizes

Seven Bell helmets will be distributed by raffle during the event. At the awards ceremony, the Junior and Kids winners will be rewarded with a test day with the Sodi Racing Team. The Sprint, Women and Master winners will be offered an F4 driver experience by the AGS F1 team, as well as Itaka Shop vouchers. The 1st team in the Endurance Cup will be offered participation in the 24 Hours of SWS, the 2nd in a 12-hour race and the 3rd in a 6-hour race.

Closing evening in Malaga

Participants will be invited to join the seaside for an evening event organised on Saturday at the Malaga Automobile Museum. Reserved exclusively for the occasion, this prestigious venue will provide a reception area and stage where the champions of the 2024 SWS season and the best of the 2025 SWS International Finals will be rewarded during the official awards ceremony. Upcoming new features will be presented at the same time as the location of the 2026 SWS International Finals is announced.
